If you are following me on any kind of social media then you might already be aware that I have another gig coming up soon.
If not, for your information, I will be performing One at Theatre in the Mill, Bradford on Wednesday 26 February at 7.30pm.
It’s a brilliant venue, with fantastic staff and a genuine reputation for supporting great work, and I am very fond of it so I am really looking forward to performing there. I also hope it means that those friends who couldn’t make it (or couldn’t get in to, cos it sold out!!!) to the show in Leeds last June can come along.
And I’m in a season with some other great artists including Dan Bye. Which is nice. And there’s a LOVEly offer on to see (my) any two shows and get one at half price. In case you were thinking of coming along…
I’m billed as part of Emerge, which should have been a full festival but sadly they didn’t manage to get their funding, alongside a new play by Lizi Patch. I wear that badge with pride because without the support of Emerge and the Mentored Commission I gained in 2012 I might not have made this piece so it is nice to come full circle and perform under the banner of the festival that gave me the nudge in the right direction in the first place.
There are also going to be some dates further afield but I’ll tell you about those another time.
